Re Birth performance, Ayuna

 

 I believe that we remodel ourselves at certain moments in our lives; we go through a remodeling and layering of the self so that we don't just maintain the status quo, but expand our thinking and embrace reasoning to evolve and move forward.

As a celebration for my birthday, I have planned a performance in which the old Ayuna is washed away and a new Ayuna is born. From December 18 to 24 is my birthday week. 

On December 24, I will perform rebirth: I will display a moment of transformation in which I shed my old self and form a new one, like a newborn butterfly. This transformation will release me from who I have defined myself to be, from the molds that have held me in bondage, giving me a broader view and vision of the world. And it will be the key to unlocking opportunities both within and outside of me, allowing me to transform from a small circle into a larger sphere. It's also about finding what I really want and recognizing and adapting to my instincts. The performance is Paganism, infused with symbols from ancient indigenous religions, and consists primarily of body language - rituals - to change old, negative habits and patterns and embrace new, bright energies.

Re Birth 퍼포먼스, 아윤아

 

 저는 사람은 어떠한 특정한 순간을 계기로 자아를 새롭게 리모델링 한다고 생각합니다.

사람은 자아의 모델링과 레이어링을 거쳐 우리는 그저 현상 유지를 하는 것이 아니라 사고를 확장하고 새로운 이치를 받아들여 더욱 발전하고 나아가게 됩니다. 저는 제 생일을 기념하여 과거 아윤아로 살았던 존재를 씻기고 새로운 아윤아로 탄생하는 퍼포먼스를 계획했습니다. 12/18-24는 제 생일 주간입니다. 저는 12월 24일에 재탄생에 관련된 퍼포먼스를 합니다. 저는 기존의 모습에서 새로운 변화의 순간을 적극적으로 장치하여 갓 태어난 나비처럼 구 자아를 탈각을 하고 새로운 자아를 형성하게 됩니다. 이 변화는 제가 정의한 나 자신, 스스로를 속박했던 틀로부터 벗어나게 하여 제게 넓은 시야와 그에 대한 비전을 전해줄 것입니다. 그리고 제 안의 내부 및 외부 모두에 대한 기회를 여는 열쇠가 되어, 작은 원에서 더 큰 구체로 도약하는 계기가 될 것입니다.  또한 제가 진정으로 원하는 것을 찾고, 저의 본능을 인정하고 적응하게 됩니다. 이 퍼포먼스는 고대 토착 종교의 상징이 내포된 패가니즘으로, 주로 낡고 부정적인 습관과 패턴을 바꾸고 새롭고 밝은 기운을 받아들이는 신체 언어 - 의식으로 구성되어 있습니다.
